GYEON and ONYX ceramic coatings, machine paint correction and overspray removal for Bayles drivers. We come to you, or you bring the car to our Berwick studio (25 km from Bayles).
Bayles is farming country - flat, open, and served by roads that are dusty in summer and muddy in winter. Cars and utes here cover real distances, and it shows in the paint, the wheels and the interior.
Every Bayles booking is handled by Andy himself — owner-operated, 30+ years on paint, and the same standard for a daily driver, a work ute or a weekend car. Tell us the car and what is bothering you and you will get a straight answer.
Most farm vehicles live outside, taking full sun and weather. UV fade and chalky trim are the result.
Gravel roads chip the front and sills. A coating does not stop chips but helps protect the paint around them.
A work ute that has been protected sells for noticeably more than one with sun-baked paint and a stained interior.
Summer dust coats everything and gets into door seals and vents. It is abrasive, so it has to be rinsed, not wiped.
Paint depth readings and a close look under the lights before anything touches the car.
A full wash, then chemical and clay decontamination to strip out what washing leaves behind.
Correction matched to your paint - gentler on soft clear coats, more passes on hard ones.
The coating goes on panel by panel and cures under cover before the car goes back on the road.
CDS is mobile across Melbourne's south-east, Bayles included, and also runs a studio in Berwick (25 km from you) if you would rather drop the car in. A shed or a closed garage is ideal for a mobile job. Some owners would rather tie it in with a trip into town and leave the car at the studio instead. Mention your parking set-up when you enquire and Andy will say honestly which way gives the better result.
Most jobs are one to three days. We can plan around harvest or busy periods if you tell us when you book.
Yes - paint, trays, canopies and trim. A coated ute rinses clean after a day on the tracks.
Fresh bug residue comes off easily; etched marks can usually be polished out. On coated paint they barely stick.
