Work utes and touring 4WDs take more abuse than any other vehicle we coat — dust, mud, site grime, gravel and full-time sun. Sealing the surfaces is what makes them manageable.
A coating on a ute is not about making it a show car. It is about the surface no longer holding on to everything it drives through. Red dust, clay mud and site grime bond hard to bare clear coat and to raw plastics; on a coated vehicle they release under water pressure instead of needing a brush.
If the vehicle already has years of dust scratching and UV fade in it, we will tell you honestly what correction can and cannot recover before we coat anything. On a hard-working ute the sensible spec is usually a solid correction on the upper panels and a durable graphene coating over the lot.
