Those fine spiderweb swirls that show up under the sun come from washing, not driving — and machine polishing removes them properly instead of hiding them with filler.
Swirl marks are shallow scratches in the clear coat, almost always caused by wiping dust off dry, automatic car washes, or a dirty wash mitt dragging grit across the paint. Glaze products can hide them for a wash or two, but they come straight back.
The proper fix is to machine-polish a fine layer of clear coat so the swirls are gone for good. Protect the corrected finish with a coating and switch to two-bucket washing and they won't return.
