Pre-Sale Detailing

Presentation moves the price. A corrected, properly detailed car photographs better, inspects better and gives a buyer far less to negotiate with.

When a buyer walks around a car, they are looking for reasons to pay less. Swirled paint in the sun, yellowed headlights, a stained driver’s seat and grimy wheels all read as neglect, and every one of them becomes a discount. Most of it is correctable in a day.

What we prioritise before a sale

  • Paint correction on the panels buyers actually inspect first
  • Headlight restoration — a strong signal of a cared-for car
  • Wheels and tyres properly cleaned and dressed
  • Interior deep clean, including stains and odour
  • A durable sealant or coating so it still looks right weeks into the listing

We will also tell you honestly where to stop. On a ten-year-old daily driver there is a sensible ceiling on what is worth spending — the goal is the best return on the detail, not the most expensive job. Tell us the car and roughly what you are asking and we will spec it accordingly.

Selling? Let’s make it show well.
