GYEON and ONYX ceramic coatings, machine paint correction and overspray removal for Blackburn South drivers. We come to you, or you bring the car to our Berwick studio (28 km from Blackburn South).
Blackburn South is established family country - the kind of suburb where a car does school runs, weekend sport and the supermarket, often for a decade. That is hard, honest wear, and most of it is surface damage that correction can take back out.
Every Blackburn South booking is handled by Andy himself — owner-operated, 30+ years on paint, and the same standard for a daily driver, a work ute or a weekend car. Tell us the car and what is bothering you and you will get a straight answer.
Around Eastern Health Blackburn, Eley & Shaun Shopping Centre and Hunters Knoll.
Shopping-centre car parks leave light scuffs and transfer on door edges. Transfer can usually be polished off; a coating makes the next one easier to remove.
Stop-start suburban driving loads wheels with hot brake dust that bakes into the finish. Coated wheels rinse clean instead.
If the plan is to keep the car for years, protecting it once properly costs less than repeated polishing that thins the clear coat each time.
Fast washes with one bucket and whatever towel is closest put circular marring into the paint that only shows in the sun. It is the single most common thing we correct.
You get a straight assessment of what the paint needs, and what it does not.
Wash, iron treatment and clay, so the surface is genuinely clean before it is corrected.
Swirls, holograms and etching are levelled out by machine, measured as we go.
A certified coating, a proper cure, a registered warranty and a simple wash routine.
CDS is mobile across Melbourne's south-east, Blackburn South included, and also runs a studio in Berwick (28 km from you) if you would rather drop the car in. Most family homes have a garage or carport, which is all a mobile job needs, and it saves you juggling a second car for the drop-off. Mention your parking set-up when you enquire and Andy will say honestly which way gives the better result.
Most coatings are a one to three day job depending on how much correction the paint needs. You will get an exact timeframe when we assess it.
If the clear coat is oxidised but still intact, a restoration polish usually brings the colour back. If it has started to peel, no polish will fix it and we will tell you straight.
Just avoid automatic brush washes and use a proper car shampoo. The coating makes everything else easier.
