GYEON and ONYX ceramic coatings, machine paint correction and overspray removal for Deepdene drivers. We come to you, or you bring the car to our Berwick studio (35 km from Deepdene).
Most of what comes to us from Deepdene is a late-model prestige car with dealer-installed swirl marks. Showroom washes, hand-car-wash queues and a quick polish before delivery leave fine marring and buffer trails that only show outside - and they are there on cars with delivery kilometres.
There is no sales team and no subcontracting. Andy assesses, corrects and coats every car from Deepdene himself, with more than thirty years on paint behind him, and will tell you honestly if a job is not worth doing.
Around Deepdene Park.
Lexus, Mazda and Tesla finishes are the opposite - they correct easily and mark easily, so they are polished gently and benefit most from a hard coating on top.
A new prestige car is often washed and quick-polished several times before handover. The holograms that leaves are correctable, and it is worth doing before anything is sealed over them.
The weekly hand wash at a busy car wash uses the same mitts and towels on every car in the queue. It is the most common source of swirls on otherwise immaculate cars.
Gloss-black pillars, grilles and interior trim scratch if you look at them. They can be refined and coated along with the paint.
Paint depth readings and a close look under the lights before anything touches the car.
A full wash, then chemical and clay decontamination to strip out what washing leaves behind.
Correction matched to your paint - gentler on soft clear coats, more passes on hard ones.
The coating goes on panel by panel and cures under cover before the car goes back on the road.
CDS is mobile across Melbourne's south-east, Deepdene included, and also runs a studio in Berwick (35 km from you) if you would rather drop the car in. A garaged home suits a mobile visit well. For a multi-stage correction, where controlled lighting shows every last mark, the studio is the better room to work in. Mention your parking set-up when you enquire and Andy will say honestly which way gives the better result.
Unfortunately, yes. Pre-delivery washing and polishing is usually quick rather than careful. The marks are in the clear coat, not through it, and they correct out fully.
For a garaged car where clarity in direct sun matters most we generally lean GYEON; for one that is driven daily and parked outside, ONYX 10H graphene for durability. Often either is a good answer and we will say so.
Yes. The coating goes over the film as well as the paint. It adds chemical resistance the film lacks and makes the whole car easier to wash.
