Ceramic coating, paint correction and paint protection for Kew East 3102 — mobile, at your home or workplace, or at our Berwick studio about 38 km away.
Kew East has one of the highest concentrations of European and performance cars in Melbourne, and owners who look at their paint in direct sun. That is the standard we work to: measured, multi-stage correction, and a coating chosen for how the finish reads, not just how long it lasts.
Every Kew East booking is handled by Andy himself — owner-operated, 30+ years on paint, and the same standard for a daily driver, a work ute or a weekend car. Tell us the car and what is bothering you and you will get a straight answer.
Around Belford Court Shopping Centre and Hyde Park.
BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Porsche paint is hard. It resists marring well, but it takes more passes and the right compound to correct, which is where a rushed job gives itself away.
Lexus, Mazda and Tesla finishes are the opposite - they correct easily and mark easily, so they are polished gently and benefit most from a hard coating on top.
A new prestige car is often washed and quick-polished several times before handover. The holograms that leaves are correctable, and it is worth doing before anything is sealed over them.
The weekly hand wash at a busy car wash uses the same mitts and towels on every car in the queue. It is the most common source of swirls on otherwise immaculate cars.
You get a straight assessment of what the paint needs, and what it does not.
Wash, iron treatment and clay, so the surface is genuinely clean before it is corrected.
Swirls, holograms and etching are levelled out by machine, measured as we go.
A certified coating, a proper cure, a registered warranty and a simple wash routine.
Andy is mobile as well as studio-based, so the work can be done at your place in Kew East or at the Berwick studio, about 38 km away. A garaged home suits a mobile visit well. For a multi-stage correction, where controlled lighting shows every last mark, the studio is the better room to work in. Tell us where the car is kept when you book and you will get a straight answer on which suits the job.
Yes. Every car is measured panel by panel before correction, and the approach is set by what the clear coat will safely allow - which matters most on cars where a respray is not an acceptable outcome.
Unfortunately, yes. Pre-delivery washing and polishing is usually quick rather than careful. The marks are in the clear coat, not through it, and they correct out fully.
For a garaged car where clarity in direct sun matters most we generally lean GYEON; for one that is driven daily and parked outside, ONYX 10H graphene for durability. Often either is a good answer and we will say so.
